Does BuildIG.ai set my prices?
No — and that is intentional. BuildIG.ai handles the measuring and counting. You apply your own unit costs, labor rates, and markup, so the estimate reflects your judgment and your cost database.
What drawing formats can I upload?
PDF, DWG, DXF, and common image formats (PNG, JPG). You upload what the architect or engineer sends you — no conversion or re-drawing required.
Can I use it for just one bid without subscribing?
Yes. The standalone Estimator is pay-per-use, so you can run a single project's takeoff without a subscription. When your volume grows, a Command subscription becomes more economical.
How do I get the takeoff into my estimating software?
